'Mad Money Lightning Round': Go for HEICO
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Wednesday evening.
Avon Products (AVP) : "They did declare a dividend and got a new CEO, so I would hold onto it, but my judgement is in question on this one."
Hess (HES) : "I like the properties but I think it's poorly run. I like EOG Resources (EOG) ."
Barrick Gold (ABX) : "I think that Barrick is a swell company but the stocks are in a bear market. Own the SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) . "
Baidu.com (BIDU) : "The only Chinese stock that I like is Baidu."
HEICO (HEI) : "That's military and aerospace. I like it. Let's buy it."
Dell (DELL) : "I think Dell is cheap and moving in the right direction, but I don't want to buy it."
John Deere (DE) : "I can't believe how poorly that stock has done. If it gets back to the mid-80s I would be a seller. They make great machines but cannot deliver on the bottom line."
Interactive Brokers (IBKR) : "I cannot recommend the brokers but that one is doing OK."
Corning (GLW) : "The CEO came on the show and said everything was good and it turned out it was bad. I know the stock is low, but I need more than that to recommend it."
