U.S. Jobless Claims Fall 6,000 to 386,000; 1Q GDP Unchanged at 1.9%

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- U.S. jobless claims for the week ended June 23 fell 6,000 to 386,000, the Labor Department said Thursday.
Economists were expecting new filings of 385,000.
Jobless claims for the prior week were revised to 392,000.
Meanwhile, the third estimate of first-quarter gross domestic product remained at 1.9%, in line with the estimates of economists.
