So how much is this going to cost?
According to Barger, the company has already sold out of its $499 flights, which is understandable. Now they start at $599 and run up to $999.
But for the services, the prices seem rather inexpensive and when asked about it, he told Reed that this is his company's contrarian move.
He added, "we don't want to overbook. You can have a really nice offering" and "have the right price point."
Barger stressed that there were some keys for success in this market, specifically: Cost structure, geography, a differentiated product and great crew members.
