Kenneth D. Massey, Deborah E. Lamm
Kenneth D. Massey, Ph.D., has been named as Chairman of the Botsford Hospital Board and Deborah E. Lamm, MPA has been named as Vice Chairwoman of the board. Massey, a Farmington Hills resident, has served as a member of the Farmington Hills-based Botsford Hospital Board since 2006 and is a graduate of the Excellence in Governance Fellowship of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association. He is the senior director of venture development at Wayne State University as well as the principal of Ken Massey & Associates, Consultants LLC. He was first elected to the Farmington Hills City Council in 2003 and served the city as Mayor Pro Tem in 2006 and 2010.
Lamm of Franklin, has served as a member of the Botsford Hospital Board since 2011 and is a graduate of the Excellence in Governance Fellowship of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association. In a 25-year career in the health field, Lamm held positions with The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the United States Conference of Mayors and George Washington University.
José P. Ceppi
José P. Ceppi, former assistant general counsel of Chrysler Group LLC, has joined Miller Canfield as Of Counsel in the firm's International and Automotive practices. He will be resident in the firm's Troy office.
Ceppi's practice is centered on international law generally, but he has especially focused on Mexico and Latin American markets. He has engaged in significant matters in virtually every major Latin American country over the past 20 years.
His practice specialties include international distribution, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, international transactions, joint ventures, franchising and complex U.S. legal regulations including export controls and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Maria Mainville of Grosse Pointe Woods was named as director, Strategic Communications, for The Taubman Company of Bloomfield Hills. In her role within the Corporate Affairs Department, she oversees Corporate Communications in support of Taubman's senior executives and the company's portfolio of shopping centers. She is also responsible for the company's philanthropic giving. Prior to joining Taubman, Mainville led communications for the General Motors Foundation. She also served GM as a member of the Communications Strategy and Reputation Management team as a vice president for Weber Shandwick. Her career also includes communications leadership positions with Disney Worldwide Outreach, Disney Consumer Products and Pacific Sunwear of California.
A June 2014 graduate of the Detroit Regional Chamber's "Leadership Detroit" program, Mainville also serves on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity of Michigan.
Steve Chessare was promoted to the position of Vice President/Market Manager of Greater Media's Detroit-based radio cluster, including WRIF-FM, WCSX-FM and Detroit Sports 105.1. He has been serving as the Market Manager for Greater Media Detroit since April of 2013.
