U.S. Import Prices Rise 1.3% in March; Export Prices Up 0.8%

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Import prices in March rose 1.3%, according to the Labor Department, while export prices during the month rose 0.8%.
Import prices were revised to a 0.1% decrease in February, from the originally reported up 0.4%.
Economists forecast a 0.8% rise in import prices in March and a 0.4% increase in export prices.
