Taking it down a notch, you've got some other interesting options on the Strip, such as the "father of the mini burger" -- chef Sammy DeMarco's Original Mini Burgers at First Food and Bar in the Palazzo. Made up of four all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions and tomatoes, it must sound familiar. He even dubs his sauce a "Burger King type sauce for adults" and includes all the things you would normally find in a steak tartare, such as cornichon, capers and mustard.

Looking for a little more heat? Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken's Border Grill in Mandalay Bay serves a chile relleno burger of ground black angus brisket, roasted poblano stuffed with manchego, panela and cotija cheeses, brioche bun, chipotle aioli, tomato and shredded romaine served with cumin fries. It's sure to satisfy anyone's taste buds for an over-the-top experience.
The venerable P.J. Clarke's has entertained the famous, infamous and saloon aficionados of New York for 125 years. Its Cadillac Burger, mastered by chef Michael DeFonzo, got its name from jazz artist Nat King Cole, who proclaimed in the late 1950s that P.J. Clarke's made "the Cadillac of burgers!" out of a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, smoked country bacon and American cheese.
In West Hollywood, Comme Ca recently launched a burger night program in which guests can choose from specialty burgers, including a Lamb Merguez Burger, with lamb sausage, roasted peppers and caramelized onions, arugula on a ciabatta bun with french fries and harissa aioli; the Breakfast Burger, with housemade pork sausage,a sunny-side-up egg and white gravy on an English muffin, with Lyonnaise potato; the Comme Ca Veggie Burger, with cashew and pine nuts, garbanzo bean, ajuwan-tomato jam on a tofu bun with baby kale and spinach salad; and, of course, the classic Comme Ca Burger with Vermont cheddar and pommes frites.
