An Independence restaurant has been named one of the top 100 Chinese buffets by Chinese Restaurant News.
Mama Garden, 4400 S. Noland Rd. in Independence, is owned by Sen Lin and specializes in Americanized Chinese cuisine. The magazine recognized the restaurant for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
To qualify for an award, restaurants must receive positive industry or customer recognition and must be in business for a minimum of two years. The competition is open to restaurants in the U.S., Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom whose menu is at least 50 percent Chinese cuisine.
