U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls Rise 80,000 in June

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The U.S. work force added 80,000 jobs in June; the unemployment rate was 8.2%, the Labor Department said Friday.
Economists were calling for nonfarm payrolls to have risen by 90,000 last month, according to Reuters.
Employers added 69,000 jobs in May. That figure was revised Friday to 77,000.
