Consumer Price Index Rises 0.3% in March

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The Consumer Price Index in March rose 0.3%. The core number, which excludes food and energy, was up 0.2%.
Economists expected CPI to rise 0.3%, down from 0.4% the previous month. Core CPI was expected to rise 0.2% from 0.1% in February.
