iPhone 5 Reportedly Being Tested
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The iPhone 5 rumor mill continues to spin, with Apple(AAPL) reportedly getting closer to launching the new iPhone.
TechCrunch has grabbed a screen shot of what is reportedly the next iPhone appearing in a server log from what the blog calls a "reliable source." The server log picked up the phone as iPhone 5,2.
It's unclear if this is a second-version being tested, or perhaps a version for either GSM or CDMA networks. AT&'s(T) network is GSM, while Verizon's(VZ) and Sprint's(S) networks are CDMA.
Apple could not be immediately reached for comment.
Shares of Apple rose in early Friday trade, up 1.12% to $614.59.
