John Pires, owner of J&S Sign & Awning, transfers vinyl lettering onto a parking sign for the yet to be opened Halftime Sports Bar & Grille.
Entourage, the restaurant and night club at 502 Bedford St., was sold last week. Halftime Sports Bar and Grille will open in its place sometime next week, the new owners say.
Ziad Nasrallah and Alex Nasrawi bought the bar, the restaurant, the nightclub, the pool hall, the liquor license and the equipment and are working on the facility now.
“We bought Entourage. The closing was last week,” Nasrallah said. “We closed it this week so we can give it some paint, so we could give it a minor facelift.
“It will be the same as it was before. It was a good place with great food. We will offer the same.”
A crew of workers were in the club Friday, painting walls, washing floors and scrubbing the tables and chairs. A temporary sign was on the front of the former mill building, announcing the imminent opening of the new restaurant.
The sports memorabilia was all still hanging in display cases at the restaurant entrance.
“We will open next week, but I don’t know which day,” Nasrallah said. “We have a lot of work to do.
“We are looking forward to opening and welcoming people soon.”
