NEW YORK (MainStreet) — Everybody wants to know what the hot toys will be this Christmas. If we're lucky it will be something clever and fun like the MaKey MaKey. If we're not, this holiday season might return us all to the dark days of the Furby.

So what's hot this year? According to SAP's Fabulous 15 toy list, it looks like the top gifts might be Big Hugs Elmo, the LeapPad Ultra and Skylanders SWAP Force. Except in Ohio, which apparently loves to talk about the Ugglys, and if you have a boy don't forget about the Crazy Cart.

According to Ryan O'Neil with SAP Marketing, the company put together its toy list by analyzing discussions happening on and around social media. The company combed sources like Twitter, Facebook, blogs and message boards to rate how often people are talking about various products, as well as whether or not they actually seem popular.

The upcoming Xbox One, for example, has more attention than any other toy this Christmas, but only about two-thirds of it is good.

It's the first time SAP has tried to pre-analyze holiday toys this way, O'Neil wrote, so no one knows exactly how social media activity will link to sales. Still, as a way to predict the coming holiday, it's a pretty good place to start. See below for SAP's full breakdown of the top 15 toys kids are talking about this year, as well as who's talking and where.
