Naples, N.Y.
The Naples Pharmacy shuts down Feb. 15, leaving Naples the latest small community to lose another hometown business. The pharmacy employs about 15 people who got the official word Wednesday from owners of the regional chain that owns the pharmacy, Henderson’s Drug Store, Inc.
“I was hoping to retire from here,” longtime employee Bunny Domm said Thursday morning. “But it isn’t going to happen.”
Domm and others say they are sad and worried, as many people, particularly older folks, depend on the pharmacy.
