QUINCY
Manet Community Health Center has signed a new affiliation agreement with Steward Health Care System, the parent company of Quincy Medical Center. The agreement paves the way for doctors with Manet – a nonprofit with four clinics in Quincy and one in Hull – to shift into the Steward Health Care Network and out of the Braintree-based New England Quality Care Alliance. Manet currently has 14 doctors and five nurse practitioners, but that number is expected to grow in the near future. The Steward affiliation will help Manet upgrade its health information technology system and double the size of its primary care practice at Quincy Medical.
