ROCKFORD Tracy S. Beard, a financial advisor at Savant Capital Management, has earned a Master of Science in financial services from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
Savant Capital Management is a fee-only wealth management firm.
The Master of Science in financial services program covers topics, including advanced pension and estate planning, financial planning, executive compensation, business and personal tax planning, security analysis, portfolio management and financial statement analysis. Candidates must complete 36 credits of individual and residency study, and pass 12 examinations.
As financial adviser, Beard is responsible for managing the financial planning and investment processes for Savant’s clients. Beard meets with clients, advisors, portfolio managers and planners to determine and coordinate effective planning, investment and tax strategies.
Beard earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Rockford College. He is a certified financial planner, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary and is pursuing a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation. He has worked at Savant since July 2001.
