NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money" Lightning Round Monday evening:

Sprint Nextel (S) : "There are some bonds of theirs that I like, but otherwise the stock is just like an option on the company. It's not much of a common stock."

Gannett (GCI) : "I know they seem cheap, but the newspapers are not for me."

AT&T (T) : "I think AT&T will have a good quarter, but I prefer Verizon (VZ) because they're signing up more people for the iPhone. "

FARO Technologies (FARO) : "This has been very strong, but I have to say don't buy. I don't want to own a tech stock right now."

Hess (HES) : "They have underperformed and under managed so I'm going to say no."

Pengrowth Energy (PGH) : "Yes, I would buy it. It's down a huge amount and I would buy it. "
