Skyworks, however, had two power amplifier modules within the Verizon(VZ) CDMA version of the iPad 2 and three transit modules in the AT&T iPad 2, according to ifixit.com.
TriQuint has two chips within the iPhone 4S. Skyworks also has a power amplifier inside Apple's latest iPhone, which was launched last October.
Skyworks shares rose 0.45% to $26.78 on Friday. The stock has gained more than 70% so far in 2012. Shares of TriQuint, which have risen more than 13% this year, were up 3.63% to $5.57.
