Here's One of the Coolest Features of iOS 6
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- By now, seemingly everyone and their brother knows that Apple(AAPL) is going to announce the iPhone 5 sooner rather than later. One of the coolest features of Apple's new operating system, though, is available for all iPhone users.
Apple unveiled iOS 6 at its Worldwide Developers' Conference in March, alongside a slew of new MacBooks and a host of other products. One of the best features of iOS 6 (as far as I'm concerned) is the ability to use a song as your alarm clock.
Up to now, users can only use pre-loaded sounds from iOS 5 or songs purchased from iTunes as their alarm clock. Once iOS 6 becomes available (rumored to be right around the iPhone 5 launch), users can use any song in iTunes, whether it was purchased from there or not.
Shares of Apple are up 0.99% to $627.84 in mid-Monday trade.
