Olga’s Kitchen announces record profitability for 2011, planned growth
Matt Carpenter, president & CEO of Troy-based Olga’s Kitchen, announced record profits and comparable sales growth for 2011 which included the opening of two newly built restaurants with a contemporary new design and dining experience in Royal Oak and Canton.
Olga’s Kitchen will open a new restaurant in the Compuware Building in downtown Detroit in March. This fast-casual restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as provide catering services and office delivery to the surrounding business community.
Olga’s Kitchen will expand to nine midwestern markets over the course of the next three years and plans on starting that growth in Chicago, Indianapolis and Columbus this year.
Olga’s Kitchen owns and operates 36 restaurants in Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois, providing both dine-in and carry out service.

Lear Corp. ups dividend
Lear Corp. has reported its Board of Directors has increased its quarterly cash dividend on the Southfield-based company’s common stock by 12 percent to 14 cents per share from 12.5 cents per share.
The dividend is payable on March 21 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 2.
