The Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors has announced that applications are available for the fourth annual Tuscarawas County Tourism Ambassador award to recognize an outstanding ambassador for Tuscarawas County tourism.
Nominees can be a volunteer or paid professional, an individual or a group that best exemplifies the Convention and Visitors Bureau’s vision of “extraordinary leadership and service” in promoting the county as a destination.
Nominees must be nominated by someone other than themselves and must be available for a presentation at the annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Jan. 22. The winner will be the guest of the CVB. Posthumous nominations will be accepted.
Applications will be accepted until Friday and may be hand-delivered or faxed to the CVB at 330-6022433. Applications are available at the CVB offices at 124 E. High Ave. or online at www.traveltusc.com.
