Walnut Hills Retirement Community, 748 Olde Pump St., Walnut Creek, will expand its rehabilitation program by constructing a new $3.5 million rehab center with the groundbreaking to take place in the fall.
The new rehab center will be built onto the front of the existing nursing home, with a redesigned main entrance and new corridor which will enable guests to reach the rehab area without passing through any other area of the building. The center will have 20 private rooms with private baths and the rehab gym will grow from the current 300 square feet to 2,800 square feet.
The project is expected to be completed by fall 2014. For more information, call 330-893-3200 or visit www.walnuthillsliving.com.
