An Amazing Slate of Entrepreneurs Coming to TheStreet
It's incredible what you can do with an iPhone 5 and a little entrepreneurial spirit.
Seriously, I knew the idea to air casual conversations with serial entrepreneurs, founders and startup leaders was a good one, but I never expected it to take off like it has. For the record, it wasn't my idea. TheBeach Meets TheStreet's co-producer Manoj Rao of Media 11:11 came up with it. I had the good sense to sell TheStreet Editor-in-Chief Bill Inman, on the idea.
Anyway, who would have thought we would have kicked off the series with Pandora (P) co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Tim Westergren? Incredible, but merely a harbinger of things to come as we split time between established entrepreneurs and relatively young startup founders from Southern California's Silicon Beach and beyond.
Cyrus Farudi of Capsule and 22-year old Jonathan Calmus of Cuttle followed Westergren in weeks two and three.
You can see each of the conversations at TheBeach Meets TheStreet's YouTube playlist.
Now, dig this slate of forthcoming guests to hit TheStreet every Tuesday morning going forward:
March 12, 2013: Jack Sichterman, co-founder of Einstok Beer. Not a tech company, but still a true startup. We taped this one on Wednesday. Smooth interview. Great content. And we even drink beer.
March 19, 2013: One of the nation's most successful entrepreneurs, Richard Rosenblatt, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Demand Media (DMD) and former head of MySpace.
March 26, 2013: Rob Emrich, co-founder and CEO of social gaming rewards company PaeDae.
April 2, 2013: Jeff Fluhr, Co-Founder and CEO of social video platform Spreecast. Jeff also co-founded StubHub, which he sold to eBay (EBAY) in 2007 for $310 million.
April 9, 2013: To be decided. We're looking at several interesting options for this week.
April 16, 2013: Bryan Goldberg, who co-founded and recently sold Bleacher Report to Time Warner's (TWX) Turner Broadcasting System for a reported $175 million.
