Old Dog, New Blog: The 'Urkel' and Measuring Twitter Impact
NEW YORK (MainStreet)--It's no secret Jim Cramer is into his Twitter feed, but it's often difficult to gauge the impact of one's social media presence. That's where my sister, Nicole, and I came in for this edition of Old Dog, New Blog: here we school Cramer in a metric we call the "urkel," which measures the ratio of total followers to total tweets.
In the video below, we talk in financial terms Cramer understands--low multiple, for instance--for him to understand how he stacks up against Beyonce, Lena Dunham, Business Insider's Joseph Weisenthal, and The Street's own Rocco Pendola. Check out this course in Urkenomics 101 and see the table we used here.
