Poll: When Will You Buy the iPhone 5?

Tickers in this article: T S VZ AAPL

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 5 officially went on sale Friday morning in nine countries around the world, and lines at Apple Stores across the globe were plenty deep.

Lines were hundreds deep at some Apple Stores, with one of Apple's co-founders joining the fray. Steve Wozniak tweeted that he was waiting in line at an Apple Store in Australia, as the iPhone 5 went on sale there before it hit the United States.

The iPhone 5 has a bigger 4-inch screen, a 16 x 9 aspect ratio, and is Apple's thinnest iPhone yet. The company integrated the touch sensors integrated into the display itself, making the display 30% thinner than the previous version.

There are now five rows of apps instead of the traditional four, and the iPhone 5 has a 1136 x 640 resolution. In addition, the color saturation on the screen is 44% greater than the iPhone 4S.

Apple added the ability for the device to run on 4G, or Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks, from AT&T (T) , Verizon (VZ) , and Sprint (S) .

Given the intense interest in the phone, TheStreet wants to know when you're going to buy the iPhone 5.

Vote in the poll below to see when most people are going to buy the new iPhone. Results will be up Monday afternoon.
